We are pleased to announce that Professor Amita Sehgal from the University of Pennsylvania will be presenting at the IHA Virtual Neurodegeneration in Flies Seminar series on 9th January, 2025, at 4:00 PM (London time). Professor Sehgal, a renowned molecular biologist and chronobiologist, has significantly advanced our understanding of sleep and circadian rhythms through her pioneering work with Drosophila melanogaster (fruit flies). Her talk, titled "Maintenance of Brain Integrity via Lipid Regulation by Sleep," will delve into the mechanisms by which sleep contributes to brain health, focusing on lipid regulation.
